@@davidfrankland903 Ok, we finally found the answer and ordered accordingly. The self-parking / Automatic Parking Assistant is part of the Assistant Parking Plus system. And it is available in the Premium Package, not the Convenience Package.

No guys it is part of the standard parking assistance package. I have it on my G20 and it works in conjuction with reverse assist.

So it doesn’t do side of the road parking then. I’m in mine now. Can’t seem to do it. Also the software seems a little iffy. This is my wife’s car. My 2023 GLS 450 on the other hand. Amazing ! I’m surprised it doesn’t fly yet. That goes for all the new C or E Classes. Not taking away from the New BM’s but how far Mercedes his car has to be mentioned.

yeah front parking is easy. Parallel parking should be displayed in very tight spots.
