I was worrying for the past few days about why my bobbles were on the inside of my work, and it took me this long to realize I needed to watch to the end of the video. Thank you for this. 💛

I enjoy watching even stitches I have done in past. It is nice to watch others, and a reminder on many the correct way

This is also called a BBL in some patterns (I'm pretty sure its for patterns from the UK.)

Little confusing by how many steps there are but I still got it. TYSM

I feel like there was some extra unnecessary steps through in this tutorial because she was like explaining for a super super beginner. It’s just half of a dc x5 and then the last step pulling thru all the loops on the hook. This made it sound super confusing. Just do like u would do for a normal dc but don’t do the very last step of pulling thru the last two, so just pull thru the first 2 loops, leave the dc unfinished, yarn over and prepare for another dc, pull thru the first two loops , yarn over prepare for another dc pull thru the first 2 loops, etc etc until u do this five times. Then the last step would be pulling thru the remainder of the loops on the hook left over from the five unfinished dcs u just did. I’m not sure why she counted going thru the hole as having two loops on ur loops, cause that’s what confused me. Usually people willl just say “insert ur hook into the next stitch yarn over and pull thru” but she actually made the stitch into another 2 loops which added about five extra confusing steps

I used to crochet these kind of stitches all the time, bubble stitches, popcorn stitches and bobble stitches but then one day they just stopped working idk what to do😭

Hello, I’m new to crochet and just learned the bobble stitch, but every time I create one I accidentally do an increase, can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I do a single crochet right after, so I’m confused. Great videos, very helpful! Thanks, Linda

you may not be looping over after every time you go back in to your stitches!

You probably aren’t yarning over and then inserting into the next stitch

With all due respect, I’m pretty sure this is NOT what dc5tog means usually. It’s usually that you’re decreasing
@forgetthis26072 жыл бұрын
To create a bobble stitch it’s the same technique as a decrease , as it actually is decreasing stitches but also creates a whole different type of styled stitch itself🤗
@venyaprasad Жыл бұрын
it actually is. dc5tog means decrease 5 together, which is a bobble stitch.
@drklstyk Жыл бұрын
@@forgetthis2607what?! How is it to decrease, if at the end of the round, you will have the same amount of stitches, counting the Bo as one.. since it's in one stitch I think it's just confusing because it's how the UK patterns are written. These type of abbreviations
@frauneupo Жыл бұрын
Yes, I just watched another video and it was definitely different. This may be a bobble stitch but not dc5tog
