will the body mount chop fit 305’s? Currently running 285/70/17 with extended upper controls arms and 3 inch lift. Also going to add 4 inch in the front with diff drop soon to help accomodate the 305’s

Hey mate, what extra process would you have to do to fit 34s/35s
@Allseasonadventures Жыл бұрын
You would have to trim guards I think and a slightly bigger rim offset

@rorylah4 ай бұрын
you will need to body mount chop for the 285s if you have a hilux and like the same for the 265
@Allseasonadventures4 ай бұрын

Is this legal? I’m looking to do this to my ute but not sure if I’ll be able to get a warrant of fitness if it do.
@Allseasonadventures Жыл бұрын
Yes it is legal as long as you get it engineered What size tires are you running?

Hey mate if I got 3 inch lift do I still need chop? To fit the 33 inch 0 offset wheels?
@Allseasonadventures Жыл бұрын
Lift doesn’t help with fitting tires as the wheels still need to fit at full compression
@wesleybrewer912 жыл бұрын
What upper control arm did you use
@Allseasonadventures2 жыл бұрын
Arb upper control arms I have a video on them also

hey mate, Im trying to fit 275/65 with the stock 18"rims on my n80 SR5 (roughly equivalent to 33 inch diameter). Do you know if a lift is needed on top of this modification or just doing this chop and UCA change will be sufficient with the standard height. cheers
@Allseasonadventures2 жыл бұрын
No lift is required Even if you go bigger you want it to fit at full compression so lift is irrelevant to fitting bigger tires 👍🏻
@reesetoase34912 жыл бұрын
@@Allseasonadventures beautiful, thats what I wanted to hear. Iv read on the forums that people have fit 275/65/18s KO2s with no or minimal scrub on the stock UCAs just using a full positive castor adjustment. I dont really see how, when I look at the width on the inside of my current 265/60 tyres, if I increase the rubber height it looks like it will definitely rub the UCAs and that's without a width increase to 275... obviously Id prefer not to have to change the UCA but yeah... whats your opinion on that?
@Allseasonadventures2 жыл бұрын
@@reesetoase3491 I had 285/70/17 on a 9 inch p18 rim and it just rubbed at full lock nothing that worried me I just changed them as I had a good deal Cheers Brock

If you own a Landrover defender you don’t have to do any modifications to fit bigger tires
