How to book the tickets to the Uffizi Gallery?
This is the question you ask me most often.
If you put 'Uffizi Gallery tickets' in Google, the first results you get are the big reselling services, where you find the tickets on a higher price.
How to avoid them?
You have to go on the official website of the museum : www.uffizi.it/
You can also go directly to the official ticket office of the Florentine state museums: www.b-ticket.c...
Once there you choose the museum, the date of your visit and the time slot. You add the number of tickets and you pay.
You will receive a confirmation of your booking on your email. With this confirmation you have to pick up your tickets at the museum.
At the Uffizi you do it at the door no 3, on the right side of Piazzale degli Uffizi (keeping Piazza della Signoria behind you).
The entrance to the museum is on the opposite side of the Piazzale.
Is that helpful? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for the information! you you know if its possible to buy a ticket for Palazzo Pitti + Boboli Garden together? I saw on the b-ticket web, that there is an option, after selecting the date and time, to select also kind of convined entrance that sais "Cumulativo Palatina-Boboli web". is Palatina same than Palazzo Pitti?

Yes, the option you found is the correct one. This ticket costs 22 euro . Palatina is the most important gallery inside the Pitti Palace.

Thank you so much for this helpful info! Just a QQ: are audio guides available at the ticket counter? And are they any good? I want to visit the musuem, and would like some kind of guide to know what i'm looking at.
@guidemeflorence9723
@guidemeflorence9723 Жыл бұрын
Hi, the audioguides are available inside the museum. After you pass the security checks, you will find an audioguide-stand where you can rent them. I don't know if there are good, because I've never used one. If you travel alone and a private guide is over your budget, you can also find a group tour. On Viator and Get Your Guide you will find many tours that last 1h30' and cost ca. 60 euro per person with ticket included. Private tours are much more convinient if there are 3 or more people in the party!

Ciao Why do you need to write the time? If for example you put 12:00 - 12:15 what does it mean? You can enter only at that time? Also is there a time limit how much you can stay inside?
@guidemeflorence9723
@guidemeflorence9723 9 ай бұрын
Hi, yes, the pre-booked tickets are timed tickets. When you book your entrance at 12:00-12:15 you are expected to enter around that time. You will be able to pick up your ticket 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time and then you will be let in. At the Uffizi they have margins of flexibility, so if you run late, you will still be let it. At the Accademia Gallery this is not the case. They are very precise with the timeslots and you will not be let in if you're more than 30 minutes late. There is not time limit for your visit. You can remain inside the museum until its closure. It's the same in every single museum.

I have a question about b tickets. The description/naming of the tickets seems a bit confusing. When i try to buy a ticket for Uffizi these are my options: Full Price Named Reduced Named Free Named Passepartout Named Passepartout Free Named but when i try to buy tickets for Cappelle Medicee these are my options: Full Reduced Free If im under 21 years old(EU Student), can I just buy every ticket that has "reduced" in its name? Also, if i buy tickets for multiple Museums (4+) and for multiple people, can I collect ALL the tickets at the same counter? If not, how and where can i collect them?
@guidemeflorence9723
@guidemeflorence9723 Жыл бұрын
The word 'named' at the Uffizi and Accademia depend on the fact that in order to buy those tickets you actually have to give your name, surname and date of birth. This is done to avoid that big companies buy big numbers of tickets for resell. So you can get reduced ticket for every museum. And the answer to the second question is no. You collect every ticket at a different museum.

Ciao! This ticket will be valid for 5 days from the day and time of your visit at the Uffizi Gallery. It will give you access to the Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens. You don't need to book the other visits. You just need to keep the ticket and make sure you don't loose it. The first museum you visit with this ticket are the Uffizi. You cannot change that.

Ciao! Do the full tickets for academy gallery skip the line?
@guidemeflorence9723
@guidemeflorence9723 Жыл бұрын
The answer is articulated. I think it's misleading to call those tickets 'skip-the-line-tickets' like almost everybody does. It gives you the idea that you arrive there and immediately you can access the museum. This is not how it works. You do skip the line to the main ticket office. The wait in that line can be up to 3 hours in high season. The pre-booked entrance (because this is what this ticket really is) is the only way to make sure you will enter the museum on the selected date more or less at the time you've chosen for your visit. HOWEVER, when you arrive to the museum you will have to wait in the line together with all the other visitors who booked the same time slot. The Accademia Gallery is small. They make sure that only certain number of visitors is inside, in order to guarantee security and safety also for the art works preserved inside. Moreover, before you enter you have to go through a security check. With reduced spaces, it all takes a bit of time. If there are no particular delays, you can enter the Gallery in about 15-20 minutes. If it rains or there are some other issues (like someone needing medical help) the delay and your wait in the line can take longer. In extreme cases it happened to me to enter with 1 hour delay. Fortunately it doesn't happen every day. So, be prepared that when you arrive in front of the gallery you will find MANY PEOPLE there waiting in various queues. You can ask people in green t-shirts 'firenze musei' all the information about the queue you have to wait in. OR contact me to organize your guided tour at the gallery! In that case your guide will take care of everything and you will enjoy the visit without a headache.

You will receive the booking confirmation with the booking number. With this you will pick up the actual tickets at the EXTERNAL ticket office in via Ricasoli, in front of the entrance to the museum. With the tickets in you hands you can join the queue waiting for the opening of your timeslot.

It is possible but the line at the Accademia will be very, very long (ca. 2 hours). At the Uffizi if you come early in the morning, before 9 am you can get the ticket without a long wait. During the day the wait can be up to 1 hour.

Does this allow you to skip the line or do you have to line up still?
@guidemeflorence9723
@guidemeflorence9723 Жыл бұрын
The answer is yes and no at the same time 😉. The line you skip is the line to the ticket office which is very, very slow, because in high season the number of tickets available directly at the museum is low. So, during the high season, from April until late October, if you want to be sure you'll enter the gallery in a reasonable amount of time, you HAVE TO pre-book your ticket. That being said, keep in mind that you will have to pick up your ticket at the door number 3. Depending on the time of your visit (month, day of the week or particular feast like Easter or 2 November that are very crowded) it can take you from 2 to 20 minutes. If you book a guided tour with a private guide, your guide will be able to skip this line and pick up your tickets rapidly. Once you got your ticket you have to enter the gallery and again, depending on the day there can be a line for the security checks at the entrance. It may happen on Tuesdays (the most busy days at the Uffizi and at the Accademia) and in particularly busy periods (for example when Italian have long weekends like 1 May, Easter, 2 June, 2 November, 8 December). The only way how to skip all the lines is to visit the gallery after closure, but it costs 20 000 euro 😉 otherwise you can pretend to be King Charles III. I am kidding, obviously, but you have to remember that the Uffizi are the most frequently visited museum in Italy. Don't be surprised if you will find there many other people who will try getting to the gallery with you at the same time. Booking a guided tour is a smart idea, also because your guide will navigate you through this complicated entrance procedure.

It depends on the season and the timeslot but generally it takes between 5 and 15 minutes. If you book a private tour of the Gallery with your guide, the guide will skip the line and pick up your tickets in 1 minute! Feel free to contact me if you are interested in a tour of the Uffizi!

In high season, from 1 March until 31 October, a full ticket costs 29 euro. You can buy them here webshop.b-ticket.com/webshop/webticket/eventlist?production=1 If you don't mind waking up earlier, you can buy the ticket for 8:15 or 8:30 am for 23 euro. You can do it here. webshop.b-ticket.com/webshop/webticket/eventlist?production=65 What Google sais isn't right, if it's different from the prices you see here. The discounts are for EU youths 18-25 years old. They pay 2 euro for the ticket and 4 euro for the booking fee, 6 euro in total. All children under 18 can get a free ticket but they pay 4 euro for the booking.

@@Angelinaaa6 yes, there might be a queue there but if you arrive there 10-15 minutes before your time slot, you are fine. They are not thaaaat precise with the timeslots at the Uffizi. For reduced prices: "European union citizens only, over 18 and until the day of the twenty-fifth year of age showing passport or ID." Does that mean if you're 25yr old and 1 day it's no longer possible? :/ My girlfriend will be 25yr old and a few months at the time we plan to visit. Could I still book 1 reduced ticket for her?
