Would you recommend just "random coding" or, like, personal projects. I graduated with an engineering degree in May, and am still looking for a job, and want to continue to add to my resume while still looking for a job. I ask, because I "code" while using and upgrading and messing with my 3D printers and CNC router. Sure, I don't do a whole lot of coding in it, but I know enough to manipulate stuff surrounding the machines to get them to do what I want, that isn't just clicking "start" on the given software.

Right now, it's kinda filled with school classes and class projects (what my school advisor told me to put on it), along with my high school job and all. I don't know if you still need an answer, but I just read this comment and I thought "literally me". I am currently at my first year of electrical engineering, taking multiple classes, one of them is Computer Science 101. I am realizing that I kinda hate coding, but i still like circuits boards, but I also like designing mechanical stuff, so I kinda thought about switching to Mechanical Engineering. After a long research, I found a sort of compromise: biomedical engineering. I think It has designing combined to electrical theories and other stuff.
