Quick advice for those that say it does not boot remember to check if u dont have an sd card in ur laptop or desktop bcause the pc will try to boot from the sd card first instead of the usb flash drive thank me later 👍

In my case I used a USB 2.0 pen drive in a USB 3.0 to boot Windows 10 Home Pro on my Sony VAIO F136 laptop and it worked absolutely great !

I've been trying your way but still didn't work. I don't know wheter the flashdisk or the boot that I should configure. Somehow, I only changed the uefi to legacy on other laptop and it works. my vaio doesn't show uefi/legaci option.

Hi, I inserted the new internal SSD, prior to that I made an iso file in the usb drive. I changed the boot order and pluged the usb into the usb.2.0 and the vaio screen apears with a loading rotating icon and its stuck there for hours.. what am I doing wrong?

I realize this video is 3 years old, so I am not really expecting a reply. Here's the situation I want to boot from a 3.0 USB drive on a old Dell Latitude 131L using a 5Gbps 2 Port Hidden Inside USB 3.0 HUB to Express Card ExpressCard 54mm Adapter (detailed for any questions), but my BIOS has no more updates. I don't want to corrupt my hard drive. The whole idea is to use the USB drive as a defacto hard drive running at that speed.

Because vaio's efi have usb3.0 controller separetly where you have to driver install on windows. So its no option except to plug bootable disk on usb 2

I purchased a used sony and the hard drive is divided in many partitions the number 1 don't show only 2 and 3 and I transfer a video to the desktop and it says the hard drive is full the sony don't have a Windows image hidden inside like others brands only a backup and restore but not a reinstaller of Windows I don't have the Windows on disk

Carlos174155 Hi, I think it was something wrong with the usb itself, specifically drivers. I just stuck my os on a DVD and slipstreamed sata drivers, it worked fine!
