Trying to remove mine has pulled the socket out of the board. Can't believe such a bad design exists, might as well be super glued in place.

I bought an iFixit kit with this mouse because I assume I'd need to take it apart to clean it properly. Very glad the back of a Bic could just pop the track ball out. (I don't regret buying the iFixit kit, everyone should have one.)

Honestly, I try it before and ended up pull it together with the USB 3.0 bracket which embedded on the motherboard. Luckily I managed to put it back safely and the USB 3.0 still worked!
