Another great video Todd!!! This one ranks right up there as one of the best as it is the limiting factor for the majority of people who don't even know this is possible!!!

Great video. I’ve got 3 sons that have purchased a property in 2017 and are now using equity to buy a second property.

Great insights and video. Shows the power of research. Really the key message being, live at home:). Which is music to the ears of owners of 4 or 5 bed homes as more and more kids need to live with parents for longer therefore more demand for those properties as opposed to 1 bed apartments or similar.

At the time of recording yes but this changes on an almost weekly basis as each lender changes parts of their policy

Everyone talks about borrowing money against equity and not talking about purchasing your additional properties process. Does that equate to the bank giving you that loan reflecting your equity and no need to put down deposits on new purchases after your first property purchase. Does your property need to become positive cash flow before you can borrow more money against equity.
@pizzaandproperty12466 ай бұрын
Hey mate, sounds like you're wanting to get a better understanding of exactly how equity works, have I understood you right?
@robi19able6 ай бұрын
Yes that's correct and also do you need a deposit for all future property purchases when using equity.

Wondering if this would work for someone who receives centrelink benefits and works part time? Total income (with gross) is 50k.
@pizzaandproperty1246Ай бұрын
Great question mate! I don’t believe Centrelink income would service the same way, but 100% best to ask a broker directly as you might qualify for a grant or help to buy that is possibly a better fit 😊

So many ways to approach lending. Great advice. A lot of tunnel vision most of the time due to poor advice. Most people are just told, you need to earn more, sorry. Awesome video!

Yeah but so’s borrowing $1m on that income, the point of the ep was just to get people thinking about the options we do have to move forward despite all the market changes 😊

then the market will adjust down either by a bit or a lot, and i'll continue to hold income producing assets that need to be used in no matter the economy. Honestly I respect your opinion dude but if you look back through the past 50 years the people that keep calling for a crash / bubble bursting have missed out on more gains than they've protected themselves form from loss aversion and inaction. fear is a bad investment guide bro

@@pizzaandproperty1246 Any random ASX200 portfolio with 20 stocks gave average 13% yields growth for the past 40 years. Teaching people to leverage themselves based on past figures it’s not the right call as they can lose everything. I know a couple that lost everything in this forever up market because of this sort of BS that you propagate. My point is risk taking and this strategy is proven to be VERY MUCH WRONG.

For property share, I'd like to know if I did this with a friend lets say 50% each share ownership. For next property i heard thr banks assess you as if you are 100% owner of the property and not 50%. Can you please clarify this? Thanks

Exactly they account for 50% of the income and 100% of the debt.. fun times lol
