Keep in mind that only one user can play at a time. The primary switch of the user always takes precedence so the primary switch will not get kicked off. The secondary switch however will get kicked off if the primary switch plays that game. There is a workaround by logging in and going into airplane mode after it boots so it doesn’t have internet connection to authenticate then license.

You can authorize one person at a time so you can authorize a friend or they can authorize you as long as your a friend on their switch so you can play the game at the sametime

Go to store click on your account in top right corner scroll down to primary console and authorize the person you want but they have to unauthorizes in order to let someone else use so use a family member’s but they can download all your games and if they authorize you then you can download all their games.

I bought 1 Nintendo Switch for myself and my young son. I bought a 400 gb card and downloaded a ton of games for him and AAA games for myself. He's now really good at gaming and sometimes I want to play another game on my own. If I bought another switch could I move the AAA games I have on my son's switch to mine new switch so he no longer has access to it?

Yes as long as the account you used to purchase the games are attached to a user on the new Switch. It doesn't have to be the main user account but you will need to select that account to open the games. :) Hope that answers your questions!

If you play a game like this, on someone else's profile on your switch, will your game data saved on the cloud overwrite the game data saved from the primary game-owners switch because they both save to the cloud? Or will it know that two separate game saves exist and leave it that way?

Great question! The saved data is saved on the individual switch, so It's safe to play it on another Switch. You can even have multiple saved of the same game on a single Switch, Just create a new user, don't link it to Nintendo and use it to play the game.

Great question! Nope! Only if you are playing the same game while online. There is a trick that if you put the second switch on airplane mode after you start the game, you will not get kicked out if you sign into the primary on the same game. :)

Great question! So if the game is borrowed, you can't play together online with the person who you borrowed it from. Hopefully this changes in the future and Nintendo adds the ability to share games and play together.

So I have multiple accounts made on my Nintendo switch if I got another Nintendo switch and I logged into one of those Nintendo accounts would my other accounts be logged in as well or do I have to do it at different times? Great question! The game will only be accesible from the main account or the account they were purchased in. In order to access games on a second Switch, you would need to log in to the main account again there, to down load the games.

Try creating a new user profile on the Switch for your brother, then when you open Mitiopia select that user account. Make sure that user account doesn't have an account attached to it. Hope it helps!

@@rahafalreyes2391 So my friend had the digital copy of acnh he bought it, he gave me his account to sign in to and I installed the game, when YouPlay ac on their account it wont change any save data so you and the shared account have your own separate islands so gamesharing is great! But only one person can play at a time unless you turn wifi off.

Great question! On your second account, you would not be able to play. You would need to buy another copy for that account. You CAN save multiple saves on just 1 switch. Just create a user for your sister and don't attach a nintendo account to it. When she plays, have her choose that user and it will save her progress to her user. This will keep your saves separate from hers. Hope that helps! Thanks for subbing!

Yes :) You would need to be connected to sign in to the account and download the games. Nintendo made it so that even digital games you own need to be verified before it lets you open the game.

Saves are stored on the individual switch system. You can even have multiple saves on 1 switch. All you have to do is create users, don't attach any Nintendo account to it, and pick it when you play. This is good for siblings with one system in the house.

The games you purchase will be under your account. You will most likely want to remove your account from the device before you sell it, so no they will not be able to play the games unless they purchase it with their own account

So if you would like to download the NES classic games and play them, just do it with their account.

Yes! You can have multiple Nintendo consoles and have the same game on them. You can only play it on one console at a time though. Unless you put your switch into airplane mode. :)

As long as you set up their account as a secondary account, you should be fine. With the new update, they game will pause when you are playing on your side and vice versa so make to communicate with them. Hopefully they will fix that.

You can’t add them as a user on your switch and then both play the same game at the same time, despite what you claim in the comments. I have tried this method and so have many others, only one person can play a game at the same time while being online. This is not the proper way to gameshare.

To play digital games you would have to have the borrowed account on your switch then select that account to open and play the game.

Okay so I have three switches one for my self, my wife, and my daughter. Will one digital copy be able to be played on all three or should I just buy physical? We’re getting Pokémon so we’re getting one copy of each game to start with planned on getting two of one and one of another physically, but can we could play both versions on all three switches? We are on a family account as well if that matters.

One problem is that you won't have your own save files. So if you let a friend "borrow" a digital game, won't they be using your save files since it's your game and profile? One way around this would be to download all your games with your main profile, but PLAY all your games on a second profile on your own Switch console. That way, your main profile that you share with your friend will be used to save their games, but you'll save your games on the second profile on your main console.

When it comes to save files, this is stored on the individual console. When you install the borrowed game, it creates a completely different file from the one stored on the borrowed games owner. So there wouldn't be an issue with saved data being altered on the lenders console. Cloud saves is only for Nintendo Switch account members and when you install a brand new game it will give you the prompt wether you would like to access that data and copy it to the console. The profile will also not be affected because the borrower will only have access to the Nintendo Account. The borrower will have to create a new profile then, attach the Nintendo account to that profile, so the original owners profile with be deferent from the one the borrower created. Great question!
