Taught our daughter to drive in our wheeler...she sure didn't worry about whether or not she whacked a curb!! It was also the only automatic we owned then. She promptly learned row-yer-own and drove a 5spd jeep to high school too. *Proud Dad*

Probably check out that crank position sensor, or cap and rotor. After a bit of it getting hot, it would die then need to let it cool to start back up. Then just do that cycle all day until you fix it

Sounds like the white XJ needs a lower low range gearing , it sounded like he was wheelin in high range… I’ve been wheelin a manual trans XJ for 21 years now and love my tera-low 4.1 low gear set in my NP231…. Makes a HUGE difference on slow Technical Trails….
