one of the most interesting dudes on the planet and my personal favorite action star, a lot more to his guy than meets the eye. of all the poser-ass action stars of the 80's and 90's, the dolph is still around because he's a legit toughguy. intercontinental karate champion, nuclear physicist, hollywood actor...when chuck norris is gone, the world will be telling dolph lundren jokes. (too bad the dolph's no joke)

Every time I see a video of him he seems to be gracious and pleasant. And he is in total shape all these years. Just goes to show you that if you keep up the effort, you can stay looking good. Look at how Jack LaLanne lived!

the movie universal soldier was interesting because the two main actors Lundgren and Van Damme were real fighters in their best years. Both of them very nice and friendly and master fighters. That was something special. Because you don't regularly see a movie with not only one but 2 real fighters in the main role.

MMA is for safely fighting in a cage. No defense against weapons. And you don't want to be on the ground either in a street fight. Give a man a weapon or some unsafe non-cage fighting martial art skills and mma will be defenseless.

@@Amadeus_Eisenberg i can remember some mma fighter dking great in real fight situation even against armed people. And Jiu-Jitsu shines as self-defense martial art if you trained for that like Rickson says you should.

It totally works. I'm quite tall and built like a fridge, and I've gotten out of fights when I've been out in town just by drawing myself up to my full height and looking upset. It's good because I really don't want to be in a fight.
