How do you separate them enough? I had a dog that disappeared one day out of our fenced home, obviously we were extremely concerned and went out looking for him, I found him a block away scratching at some person's door. My dog was fine. We brought him back and the next day we once again found him at that same house, which I deduce had a female in heat inside. We had to keep him indoors and didn't leave him outside unsupervised anymore. Just took him out for potty breaks for a couple days until he mellowed out. I'm not sure what breed he was as my father rescued him from a terrible owner, and I mean terrible, someone who doesn't deserve to ever own a dog. My father doesn't even like dogs, that should tell you more than enough. He was a good boy, he was furry and super loving.

I love that the tips can be applied to any breed! I'm (hopefully) a future rottweiler breeder and your information really helps with planning and getting to know how things work.

Great video! Can you do a video showing each of your dogs and their names and ages?

I would love to see a video on what you do with your females when skipping a heat cycle. Do you use diapers/ how do you contain the mess when the female is bleeding? We have just begun the breeding process and have a female that will be beginning her heart cycle in a few months and we will need to skip the first few cycles until she is old enough to breed. Love your videos. I have learned so much!!

Thanks for watching! Messy females…we have mostly hardwood floors In our home and we keep a mop handy to be honest. We love those O Cedar spin mops. They are on the tools page of our website. We also invested in a Rug Doctor for the carpets. The mess isn’t really too bad and only lasts about a week.

that's what I was wondering the other day, if females get in heat twice a year, I wonder if they breed them everytime so they keep making money, specially breeders that breed frenchies, as far as know they cannot mate naturally or give birth naturally, imagine a c section every 6 months, that cannot be good 🤷🏼♂️

Hello Allen, I am wondering, if people want to come and “pick out” there puppy, what age would you allow for this?
@must_love_labs2 жыл бұрын
We let people “pick a puppy” starting at age 5 weeks. They can leave our care at 8 weeks after their final Vet visit.

We currently have 3. Rosie, Livvie and Jazz. Livvie and Jazz are new and have not whelped litters yet. They will be breeding in January if all goes well. 👍
