So essentially, even with Alpha Pals, the odds of successfully breeding one is abysmally low. I really hate RNG: it always fucks me over.
@themightyjaboccon4 ай бұрын
@CGHawkatoo it's pretty low, not sure on the chance percentage exactly but it's all a waiting game anyway, the hardest part is still getting the passives you want, then breeding them into an alpha is just a matter of time, it's good to have multiple breeding farms going at once and to just leave your game open whilst you're doing things or whatever, it's alot of grinding for the perfect pal

am doing this with shadow beak and came here to see if 2 alpha are better or 1 alpha and 1 normal
@themightyjaboccon3 ай бұрын
@mapogo835 I did a fair bit of testing and it doesn't seem to make a difference if you have 1 or 2 alphas, it's also easier to breed the passives you want into a non alpha so honestly I'd recommend breeding a non alpha with the desired passives with an alpha with as little passives as possible OR matching passives for the quickest results, it can be a lengthy process either way, unfortunately patience is key with this one.

Apart from the size difference is there any difference in stats when iv passives are equated? This is why I had to scrap my alpha shadowbeak as its totally useless in caves. Also for farming animals just spam beegaurdes and run the caves in the ice area repeatedly farming chests for slabs selling the blueprints even greens you have duplicates of got me over my first million! Also chopping up anubis for palsouls alphas give the appropriate rewards aswell as tech point books from normals! I've always got a pair of anubis breeding now Also :) at all times no matter what for butchering every few hours :)

there is no difference in basic stats apart from health BUT the health improvement is BIG so if there are some pals you want to be a bit more tanky then this is a good option. As for caves your best option is either a Necromus or Paladius that are not alpha, the reason being is they're not only fast, but they're really thin and they have the double jump so they fit through every doorway in a cave, using my Necromus I can speedrun a cave in about a minute, ignoring enemies and running through collecting the chests. I actually never chop my pals, honestly running through caves with Necromus, even turn up the drop rates on things if you really want and you'll get the upgrade books and pal souls really quickly and easily, you can actually ignore most of the enemies in a cave and just hunt the chests you'll be done in no time. Though Alphas certainly are not useless, bare in mind the game is getting more raid bosses and more world bosses and you might need some healthier pals for these harder later fights, they have come in handy for me certainly, I've put this to the test in another video where i put my Anubis against 3 of the world boss anubis and they got roasted by my anubis. here's the 3 v 1 anubis fight if you're interested. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIvVlWR6i7earq8 also a good one I'll add, I have a Lyleen Noct for the healing partner skill works great as a support pal, as well as a warsect which has a defensive partner skill, add some defensive passives on that puppy and breed him into an alpha and it'll work as a perfect tank. Sorry for the wall of text 😂 I hope this helps :) Oh and as a final note, if you breed an alpha like a shadowbeak with good passives, I'd say its worth leveling and keeping around even if you're not using it in your party, fully leveled alpha pals work wonders against the raid bosses, you really need a good army against the 2 harder versions of it.

Two regular pals have chances to produce alpha’s as well I’ve just confirmed this with two regular dinossom breeding. And I’ve gotten 2 alpha eggs With in 1h so based on luck.

Yeah for sure, I did mention in this video that it is possible to breed alphas with regular pals, Though I did a fair bit of testing with all 3 combinations and it certainly felt like the rate of alpha hatches is increased if you have 1 alpha parent, but it is not a necessity and 2 Aphla parents didn't feel any more impactful than just 1. I've now got a few alpha pals in my party and I've been keeping to the same system and it has been working for me, breeding the desired passives into the pal you want and breeding it with an alpha, it has given me quick results 😀

Rn, Serenity stronger than Ferocious though. Perfect traits would be Muscle, Legend, Elemental and Serenity.

I actually believe it depends, the cooldown reduction doesn't really matter for mounts, because you can just insta refresh their cooldowns whenever.
@danteafton40964 ай бұрын
@@hughjass2640 you cant. The cooldown for their skills when they're mounted and the cooldown for their skills when they're not mounted just have seperate cooldowns. You can ride them and use their skills and get off them and have them use their skills again but then they go on seperate cooldowns and you have to wait until they're back up again.
