Nice one, I brew premium kits all the time but I've never paid that much for a kit. I find that the kits are usually fermented out in about five days at around 20c (airing cupboard is generally too hot). The kits that need a dry hop stage take about an extra five days, ten days in total. Stay safe, cheers, Schnuz.

What a wonderful video Rick and great to see you having plenty of help. 10 days sounds good to me. Cheers mate and thanks for sharing. 👍🍺

Thanks for watching and commenting. My videos usually are far from instructional as my all grain brews are generally made up and at best fudged and experimental. Never profess to being professional but having a great time learning along the way. Saying that I've done plenty of kits in my time with great results and wanted to do a easy to follow vid and it was great fun to do with my daughter which will hopefully be on youtube for her to watch in the future.👍🍻

Hey Rick, I'll be honest I was on tender hooks when it came to the tasting..... Good clear content and your daughter looks to be a credit to you. Subbed....

Great vid Rick I found that this beer improved with time like most kits found it fairly refreshingand light,the new muntons flagship range is a must to try I 🤔🤭🤭👍🍺

I'll have a look at the new range, brewed this on your recommendation and wasn't disappointed. My usual videos are not meant as instructional videos as I'm usually making it up and winging it but ive brewed plenty of kits in my time and hopefully will help some new brewers cheers 👍🍻

Nice vid Rick..I've being brewing all grain for the past 2 years but due to time constraints I'm going to try the Muntons Hazy ipa 2mor so I can have a brew nearly ready to go for when I get back from the holidays..Id imagine that even with a kit water is still a concern?...I have access to RO

Water is definitely a consideration. I brewed the hazy ipa and loved it in fact I’ve brewed it twice.Hope it turns out well and enjoy your holiday, thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏼🍻

Awesome brewing brother!! Looks like a great brew I wish sometimes I could brew a kit for the quick brew day but here in the states cost is same price to do a partial 🤷♂️. Cheers!

I’m new to this mate so please bear with. I’ve started brewing and I’m not bottling, I’m pressure kegging. How the hell do I get a pint out without wasting so much as It comes out so frothy?
@BrewabitRick Жыл бұрын
Hi welcome to the great world of homebrew. I used pressure barrels for a while when I started and had the same problem, frothy at first then flat. I even used those small screw in Co2 canisters but never really managed to get it sorted myself to be honest. I just think they are unpredictable. Thanks for watching and sorry I’ve failed to help on the first question 👍🏼

If it was a pressure keg you was talking about ? If it’s a keg on gas I do have some solutions for that 👍🏼
@Duke-of-Northants Жыл бұрын
@@BrewabitRick yes I’m using a pressure keg. I may try to reduce the amount of sugar I add to keg and see if that helps. The froth remained constant right up to the last pints for me. It may also be the case that I’m opening the tap up too much🤔. I’ve got some Muntons in the fermenter at the moment so I’ll try maybe just 60grams sugar with it to carbonate and see how I fair. Keep the vlogs going and cheers👍🍺
