You are so beautiful & your Chemex brewing method is so delicious. I checked your full brewing guide, and I found the directions very comprehensive (Covered all my concerns). Apart from a brief comment I wrote to my Neuropsychologist, this is my second time to write a comment. Thank You so Much. Stay Safe & Beautiful!❤

Is it ok to use coffee that has been ground already? Not sure I want to clutter up my space with a grinder

What grind size are you using with the baratza encore?
@thomasmorrison6757 ай бұрын
I think the instruction manual calls for a grind setting of 20, that seem sto work pretty well.

I see you are using an Encore. What grind setting number are you using?

i used 19. i was wondering what she used too but if you still have the manual, it says 20 for a chemex.

Keep in mine even with the encores all of them don’t come stock exactly. I brewed mine at 17.5 and it worked perfect. But some people use it at different ones. Just keep everything else the same and only change the grind size each time you try to find the sweet spot!

Do Not buy a CHEMEX! You are responsible for shipping to receive your package (approx $20) and if you have to exchange/return you are responsible to find a carrier of your choice and pay for shipping going back. When you call Chemex they never answer phone and you will be disconnected after few minutes . All contact is thru emails , if you get lucky .After getting your Chemex you will be spending hundreds of dollars bcuz you will need a Scale, Burr Grinder , Gooseneck Kettle , Filters coffee beans and after all that after brewing the coffee by the time you even finish your cup the coffee that is left in the carafe is COLD , and yes , you will have to buy another Gadget , a warmer to keep your coffee warm..
