You are so right. You find this in all walks of life sadly. You just keep doing what your doing mate...I am a Brit down here in SW France and your tips have really helped me to work stuff out. I am handy but videos like this just give you the right way of looking at a job. I for one and I am sure many others are very appreciative of your quality work and quality videos. All the best to you, you deserve to be a total success.

I always fill the toothed bed joint as I go as it provides good access to get it full. Great job.
@RajSinghKhalsa
@RajSinghKhalsa 4 жыл бұрын
Agreed that toothed joint is easier done as you go along, filling the joint when pointing up at the end is time consuming and never the same as mortar in the main work is going off while a fresh load is being pressed in

How did you cut out every second brick so neatly? I know to use a large diamond blade grinder or demo saw on the horizontal mortar but how did you cut the vertical mortar so the half brick just pops out? Drill? My experience using a drill just damages the one above and then it cracks.. Your vid just shows the end result. Thanks
@jasonrowlands7759

Anthony K if you cut the bed joint vertically to the joint you tap it with the hammer it will pop out and you just clean up the joint with a plugging chisel
