On schengen visa, rule is just 90/180. Parents can not stay more than 90 days. So i think your other points are nullified.

Thanks for this video. What about expenses? Now we can bring our parents but how can we manage expenses as obviously our parents won't work?? Keeping in mind that taxes are very high in Germany
