I think the 'trial and error' time for any budget planning is crucial! So many budgets can look doable on paper and people just assume because the numbers look good then they are all set, but forget that we are all human and have impulses and maybe even have a harder time cutting back in certain areas than we realize, until we actually try. Plus, going into the 'trial and error' phase helps people not feel like they have cheated/failed on their budget, because they know they are still learning what actually works for them! Great reminder/tip!

I hope this video reaches many people who want or are expecting a baby in their future. This makes me at ease as to what expect when the right time comes. I just wanted to let you know you are helping more people than you know with videos like these. Very happy I came across videos like yours and will definitely make my partner rewatch with me haha

I have a 5 week old. I delivered him via C-section in the States. The total bill was $75,000. Thank God we have insurance. A friend of mine delivered her baby vaginally two years ago and her bill was $63,000. Your deductible is around $4,000-6,000. We looked into having a home birth and it was around $8,000.

I’m so glad you’re talking about this! I agree it’s something not everyone thinks of! We planned ahead to save for delivery costs as well as 50% of my paycheck during my three month maternity leave since my work didn’t offer any paid leave and it gave us SO much peace of mind during that season!

Those who don't have enough money doesn't get to buy whatever they need, and those who do have money don't really budget. They splurge on things they don't even need.
