How would you navigate negative balances on your bank account that create a smaller income due to paying back the balance?

You mean your account is negative so you have less money to pay bills? You budget/make a money plan with the money you have. 2 ways to avoids this. Reduce your expenses so you have more money to pay bills or increase your income. But you never budget a deficit so you have to make sure you know your monthly income and how much you need to pay bills, expenses and savings. If you don’t make enough all you can do is reduce or increase your income
