Agreed. I rather watch the non flashy ACTUAL car enthusiasts build, teach and just do things on cars. I don't dig the whole LZ, Hunt and others dudes like them. Call it hate or anything, Speed Academy is what I like to watch.

Thanks for the engine tare down video. The vavoline thing got me! It’s interesting seeing the ware in the inside of the motor and what lead it to failure.

Alright guys, I'm 1:30 in and so far, excellent work creating the engine stand montage. Much more visually appealing than a static shot. I enjoy watching Pete when he's on camera but, the combo of Dave doing work and Pete getting more creative with his filming looks like a good combo. Nice work guys. So glad to see the rotary build going! .....nice Mustache Peter. Suits you well.

So psyched for this build. Had 2 fc rx7s and always wanted to rebuild one but never had the guts to take it apart. And the fd is one of my dream cars i will be watching all of this build for sure.

in my high school auto shop we had a rotary engine on a table like that. some idiot bumped the table on accident and one of the irons hit the floor and damaged it. love the new build excited to see this

Vacuum nest!!! I was a rotary mechanic at Mazda for 4 yrs.. I loved them then hated them.. I used to replace the vacuum lines with aircraft line to reduce cracking 100% and help with longevity...

Really enjoyed this one. Always wanted to know more about rotary engines. Many years ago(1967/8?) my father's company acquired a NSU RO80 with a Wankel engine for some reason. If I remember rightly it was a pinkish red and had a velour-like roof. He said it was quite sporty... 😁
