@ Cement DIY Ideas This is basically a rocket stove which uses little wood & creates little smoke & ash. My question: is it ok to build this indoors? I'd want it adapted with raised burners to hold up the pots (the kind of raised burners where you can see the flame under the cookpot, like on a typical American gas stove) or possibly solid, tight-fitting cast-iron burners to set pots on. Would that be safe indoors as long as the chimney vents the smoke out thru the roof? Or would it still send smoke into the room plus create a carbon monoxide hazard?

After watching the previous video, I was going to suggest you add a grate for the fire, but you already did in this one! Now what I keep asking myself is how you get rid of the ashes, and if the design could not be improved to make that easier, like by putting in some kind of metal ash pan beneath the grate. The design would then be the same as in steam boilers from the industrial revolution, like you might find in coal- or wood-fired locomotives.
