just installed some 990s on the front. would they work better without that long barrel adjuster piece that goes into the brake arm? it would shorten my cable and I think that might make them work better

how do i put the back brakes on then mate because there is no video for back brakes. i know how to fix bikes because i've been doing it for years but for people to learn theres no back brake one. i come one here to learn something new or tricks which i did helpfull thanks

@lian5k either your black wheel is buckled, its too loose and keeps moving forward so try a chain tensioner might help a bit

I only use a back brake or no brakes. Going downhill with a front brake makes you eat shit

What type of brake did you use. It looks like a U brake, but ive always seen them with the cable getting split, each side pulling one of the cantilevers from straight above the brake, i want to run front brake only the way you set it up so I can bar-spin unlimited with a break, and not deal with a gyro.

@lian5k have you tried a chain tensioner? your frame might be bent, i had that problem, and the force of the frame kept pushin my chain side forward

You know it's funny, I only run front brakes. I guess because if I keep pulling back brakes only, it's going to run my back tire out and I don't feel like changing that often. Usually what I do is I lean back (not to much) when I pull the front breaks so I don't fall forward from putting my weight forward. The front tire doesn't support the bulk of your weight anyway.

YoYoGuy951 if you have a long enough cable and it doesn't pull the cable, pulling the brake on. And allows you to spin the bars without pulling the brake on your sound. So you've either got to a)have a gyro b) have a cable housing that can be twisted and not pull the brake on or c) no brake at all... on top of this a wide seat is useful to catch the bike with your knees leaving you room to spin bar
