I tried this set-up on coyotes. 3 of 5 broke the wire and got away. I enjoy your videos. You and kellsi are hard working and good family people

Yeah dogs are a different story gotta tie ur snares high and I wouldn’t use any less than 11 gauge wire for coyote… they are harder to choke out then cats and wolves I use 9 wire and make sure I have entanglement around… thank you we love hard work and our lifestyle

Thank you for showing us how you make your snares cool brings back memories when we used to set snares for bobcats on the side of the roads on the trapline dad used to walk and make a trail back-and-forth and sit on the trail the cats follow your trail. thank you again

@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie I haven't ever ordered enough of it to have issues, I'm not a huge snare guy so mostly I buy pre made snares when I do...I figure the guys who make them all the time are less likely to screw up than me lol

@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie ah man I’ve had that happen a few times, that’s when I stopped using wax paper or anything to cover the trap but snow. I”ll still use it toward the spring when it’s warm outside. But you’ll get him next time.
