+Robert Amaro basically, the switch goes in between the hot line from the wall. Thats what shuts off the power. The other wires just pass straight through.

I WENT WITH A OLD GRINDER. I HAD TO PUT SOME FEET (RUBBER) ON IT TO KEEP IT FROM WALKING. MINE IS A 8 INCH WHEEL SO I DID NOT HAVE TO BUILD MY BASE AS HIGH AS YOURS . YOU DID A GOOD JOB.

What about a rheostat? Replace your single pole switch.

If you ever decide to polish aluminium parts,the extra speed is useful,getting the parts hot helps the compound to cut more effectively,

Don't bother with pullies, getting a smaller diameter buff wheel will fix the problem.

where is your safety glasses? Using an air nailer like that without glasses you can lose an eye.
