i like this set up. tip: use a marker to make dots where the magnets are so can close it easier. plus try to get at least 200-400 watts going in there to grow big buds..super crop..n top the plant at about 2 months/12-16 inches tall/5-7 nodes....also tape aluminium foil or that silver gift wrapping paper to all sides for maximum reflexion. i grow fire. shhh!!!

You cant put 400 wats in that box without crisping your plant's. They would be dead in 12 hours. That light is designed for that size box, for four hundred wats you would need a for foot box from floor to celing.

Interesting grow room for a first grow. Perhaps, you could put a piece of thick cardboard (~6-12 inches tall) across the top and bottom (just inside of the doors) and tape it securely in place. I think it would be better at preventing light entering from the top and bottom, instead of using pieces of plastic at the top and bottom. Then using the panda plastic, you can cover the front and use magnets to adhere it tight. Additionally, since a carbon filter is not used, low odour strains like northern lights and c99 might be most suited. Or if it's legal in your state, grow the stinkiest buds you can find :P.

Me too way too early in the a.m. for getting scared. I built a grow tent using cardboard boxes (free from local stores) and aluminum foil (dollare store). I heard they sell mylar too, I will be looking for it on my next visit. Got the heavy duty tape from the dollar store too. Cost me $3. 😊 Im going to try those fabric closets next from target. $17.99 and foil or mylar. Free food is the best.

You can get Mylar Highly Reflective Sheets for Cheap on Ebay. I think I only paid like 7 or 8 Bucks for mine and it's enough to cover the walls of a Big Cardboard Box like this. You don't have to Buy it by the Roll.

Depends on how you germinated. If you use my method and it is in a warm area like 80 degrees, 2-3 days and you will have nice long sprouts.

Totally safe. They produce very little heat, especially the MINI. The heat is push up towards the top, which is why I had the ducting fan at the top, pulling air out. The cardboard at the top never got hot.
