Not gonna lie... my favorite part of the video was hearing you address your son as Sir. May seem minor to some but teaching or showing young ones that respecting people older or younger than themselves is a great place to start with people, even if he didn't catch this time. The furniture is beautiful also as usual.

As much as I have loved Norm, it is a VERY apt comparison. I was blessed in my early days we only got 3 channels (public tele for the win). Never looked at it that way, but I guess that's part of my draw. Well done.

Geez. I started watching you when you only had a couple thousand subs . I patreoned for a bit later on. I have watched every video you've made. I am working on my Bob Ross hair but at 48, it ain't easy. May have to do the Farrington. As for the apprentice, I can give you a rough timeline from my experience. My kids 26 and 28. Around early teen not as fun/cool. Late teen, coming back around. Mid-20's, wishing they listened and watched more. That's when the respect kicks in for how smart you really were and how experienced you are now. Keep it up, Mike. --Brian

Now my son is a better fly fisherman and he got me into carpentry at say 55? Now I still am a contractor doing finish work after retiring once? Then finding out there is “no quitting in life” ! The biggest domino tip I got from Sedge is that you only need one tight setting domino per joint, reference that from an edge on both pieces, and then cut the rest on the medium setting. You don’t lose strength, but it makes assembly much easier

I like the tight setting for one side then the loose for the other. This way I hammer in the dominos on the tight side and they will stay in place as I fight the piece together. Sorry I don't know who Sedge is.

I use the straw trick frequently, but have found that it captures the glue much better if you leave the straw cut at a 90 degree angle rather than cutting it to a point.

Pro tip, use t nuts for the feet. Tap them in then run a couple of small screws in beside them. Then they won’t come out and last longer than plastic.

Thank you. I have done that before, I figured this was small and light enough to where these would be fine.
