Old video, but one I needed to watch. I have Cole jaws, but says not to run it over 800 rpm. Hoping this works at a higher rpm. Thanks for sharing!!

Chriss, I never run over 600-800 RPM. Well, that's a lie.....I will bump it up if the tail stock is pulled forward, but it is risky.

Cool set of jaws. Did you put any finish or anything to harden up the fibers around the mounting screws? I'm curious how they will hold up over time. I know I'd like a set of jaws that are larger than my current set and this seems like a pretty economical way to do it.

+Make Crazydays I put glue around the ends of the jaws. The great thing about these is that they only take about 1 hour to make and the hardware will transfer. So if they do break (I had a set that did....my fault tried turning a bowl to fast) you can make another one. Oh and make sure to use a hard wood ply. Ken
