How do you make the wedges to jam in the dowel? Is there a special tool/technique to stop the wood breaking at the narrow end? Thanks

Hi Robert, We used recycled Rimu but you can use any timber you like really. SR

Great video. What glue did you use in the final gluing process ( It looked like epoxy). Is a normal exterior PVA wood glue not suitable?

Larché Jacques Clarel the wood is rimu, a new zealand timber, pva wood glue works with timber as far as im aware.

Good craftmanship but the design with crossed legs seems unstable to me compare to the standard four leg table,especially when you drill a hole in the joints and the width is half.My opinion is four leg table is better and lasts longer.
