How to Build a Dolly Track | EASY, CHEAP & SMOOTH

Budget filmmaker? Need a smooth camera dolly track? This is what you need to make a budget friendly DIY dolly track and the instructions to build it.
Items to build your DIY Dolly:
- (8) Longboard wheels - amzn.to/439pNdS
- (1) 2x2 Plywood board
- (8) Hex bolts 5/16 x 2-1/2
- (8) Hex nuts 5/16
- (72) Flat washer 5/16
- (8) .325 x .45 Nylon spacer
- (4) 2-1/2" x 1.5 Corner braces
- (1 or 2) 1-1/4 x 10ft PVC Pipe
Estimated price $95. You can find these items at Hardware stores such as Home Depot.

Great video! Can I ask what is the size of your Plywood board in cm?

Thanks! I used a 2ft x 2ft plywood board which in cm would be 60.96cm x 60.96cm. Depending on how wide your tripod extends you may want to adjust to a slightly bigger board. It just all depends on the tripod you’ll be mounting on it. Hope that helps!

What size of the hole in the longboard wheels? Is there a specific size? Or are they standard
