I'm needing to make a saw horse and like the simplicity of your design. I think I'll off-set the middle section to one end to hold shorter lengths of timber.

That is so neat. I like that it folds for easy storage and that it keeps you from having to bend to cut. Helps your back.

That was a great simple tool for the homestead. Here's a helpful tip. Glad you mentioned about going only hand tight with bolt and nut. So here's the tip. Wrap some teflon tape around the bolt end and put the nut back on,just hands tight. The teflon tape will help to keep the nut from coming loose and also help reduce electrolysis from dissimilar metals coming into contact. In other words reduce rust. Great build. Looks like you need to build a lean to roof in front of your shop for more out of the weather work space. Have a great day.

As a chainsaw artist it very important to get a level base on a carving, no more setting a piece on uneven ground or unstable tables , built the saw buck and made everything so much easier , regret not doing this year's ago .

Great quick build Jason. Just try to avoid cutting between two supported sides to prevent smaller saws from binding and larger more dangerous saw like chain saws from bucking back at you. Also throw a quick mention of wearing safety gear. It great to see how more relax you are in makng videos. Keep up the good work. :)

What about adding a covered deck onto your shop to add more work space?? It could be screened in for summer use then figure a windowed closed in solution for winter time. More space for all the orders you are getting😃👍🏽. And a more cohesive work area you want to be in-:). Warm and dry in winter, and hopeful cool and breezy in the summer.

"Sawbuck" is also a slang term for a U.S. $10 bill, derived from the similarity between the shape of a sawbuck device and the Roman numeral X (10), which formerly appeared on $10 bills. A "double sawbuck" is a twenty dollar bill.

If you had put a washer between the 2x4s before you bolted them, there'd be no rubbing, friction etc and it'll be easier to open and close.
