"How To Build A Geared Up/Down LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robot"

Hey guys!! I'm so sorry for ommitting the picture of the Geared Up/Down Robot at :19 seconds. I show you the robot at the end. This video shows you how to build a geared up or down robot with your LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Kit. A geared down robt would have lots of pulling power (torque) and a geared up robot should be really fast. Hope you enjoy!!

Hello! I’m a robotic student (quite new actually), but, we are going to be having a fastest robot competition, what would you recommend i could do to increase the speed of my robot? Would I have to do something with the gears, the wheel positioning.. or something. Please help if you can!

Exactly what this video showed. Put the larger gear into the motor and have it spin the smaller gear.

Ok for one, the axles would bend more and the gears would strip, it is harder to make spots for the axels, and the motors would not have enough torqe to have enough acceleration. Sorry, I obnsess over my dragsters
