Look at you with all your fancy words and building styles! Your creativity is what I wish I had… When I try making something, it’s either a really weird shape, too blocky, or just boring and bland. People say I’m creative, but I think that title goes to you. You are gifted with such creativity!
@BenXC3 жыл бұрын
Just keep at it! At the beginning everything I built also looked kinda bland, but you'll get the hang of it 😌

It's beautiful! Well done! You could try and place your sharing stone on the same height as your basement so that it can be shared too, but I haven't tried that out yet (we have no internet, but we will after a few weeks or so)... Also I would suggest putting a small lumber gathering spot just outside the house to make it look like a "faraway forest cottage". So good to have you back, Benny!
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
Thank you Lou! Like always very good ideas :D I'm now on another vacation for 2 weeks. After that I will build some other things around my latest builds, so I will keep this definitely in mind :)
@JustLou086 жыл бұрын
I have so many building ideas. But not enough time to build a single one lol Anyway, I'm sure we'll have even more liberty when the sequel comes out, but so far the news is dry..

I've played the demo but cant afford the full game and it's really pretty. Adds stuff that minecraft does not have,the polished graphics,furniture and other decorations inside and outside. Really cool game!

I want to try the demo.

Wow! Another in-depth and inspiring build! (did notice that you didn’t place any doors though 😄) Very nice job. I also found another use for the crumbly blocks - you can place floating plants and flowers on the surface of water. Adds some nice depth and color. 🌱
@JustLou086 жыл бұрын
You are a genius, sir. How did I not think about that? You've given me some more new ideas, thank you.
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
Haha you caught me! I also saw the missing doors during the video-edit and I hoped nobody would notice ^^ That's a very good tip with the floating plants! Thank you :)

After watching this, makes me wish there was a method to section off areas without needing to build walls and a door. Maybe something akin to the pencil tool where you lay out a grid and that space will be classified as a "room"

Bet you can't wait for DQB2 and it's first-person mode, so you don't have to deal with indoor ceiling/wall camera issues when casually running through your house.

Haha nice one :) Yes it has been online for about 2 month (vacation and some games got it the way of editing). So it could be that some of you have already stumbled upon it.

hello ben, I tried to do the same house but there are finishes that I do not see well, would it be possible for you to share again your home please ? Thank you ;)
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I can't, because it doesn't exist anymore in my latest save 🙈. But maybe I can give you directions when you tell me which parts :)

Hello Ben, I tried to reproduce your tutorials, I managed to make the big house advanced level, now I hesitate between the modern mansion, the castle or the workshop. Level difficulty is it better that I start with which?

This turned out really great! the decor really brings the rooms together quite nicely (and omg ladders as fences. how did I not think of this?.. do they count as walls for garden rooms?)
@JustLou086 жыл бұрын
I bet they would look amazing as garden walls. Ivy can look good as walls too if placed right.
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) unfortunately I don't think that they will count. Someone else stated that even crates won't count as walls.

That's a very inspiring building ! :D But I don't know why the summoning spell doesn't work for me
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
Thank you :) hmm that's odd. What happens when you try it? Normally if it isn't obstructed by monsters or villagers it should summon.
@Chris_NL6 жыл бұрын
BennyXCross Nothing happens, the previous building from summoning is still here, I tried in 2 different areas and waited 30minutes.
@BenXC6 жыл бұрын
@@Chris_NL maybe you accidentally switched it to "don't update". There is a configuration when you interact with the summoning stone.
@Chris_NL6 жыл бұрын
BennyXCross I'll check that and try again, and if it doesn't work it's not really important. But thank you for you help :)

In infos, it says "cannot find a building to summon", is it possible that the summoning spell changed ? I have dhWKfELcC
