25 years! You must be one mean old son of a gun. I was a roofer while going to college in the '70s. Asphalt and gravel, slate, and asphalt shingles. One guy was in his early sixties. He did all the special work, like bending and installing the copper flashing on big jobs. But when it came time to cut and tear off an old tar and gravel roof, he was right in there bulling the sections into the dumpster below. I was a not a conscientious student. The librarians got nervous the few times I hit the stacks. To this day I credit the roofing job for getting me through to graduation. I did like the work but I remember wondering how the heck the older guys kept on it.

I don't know your name, but you have my admiration with your work ethics, you are putting some of the lazy youth of today who only want to be gamer's in their bedrooms to shame..... on the down side.. I worry about the stress you are subjecting your body to. As my father warned me in my youth when I was up on roofs about over doing things, when I just brushed it off, he would say your suffer when your older, I used to reply I might not get to older....Now at 79 yrs after a life time in the building trade,, I am suffering with arthritis, I have had one knee replaced, the other knee needs replacing, as well as both hips.. plus 3 mths ago I had a heart valve replaced and a bypass. I'm a bloody walking disaster. So I called a halt to anymore surgery. I'll live on pain killers for what ever time I have left.... So please take care of your self, there is no shame in asking some one for a helping hand, Del UK

I very much enjoy your channel and know that you can build the houses on your own, and appreciate that you like to work on your own, but I think it’s about time you got yourself an apprentice. Someone deserves to learn the skills you have and more importantly, they would lessen the chance of you injuring yourself. You strained to fit some of the landings in this video, all it takes is some simple thing to go wrong and you can put your back out, not worth taking the chance. And you wouldn’t have to share your beer 🍺 with them. Stay safe. 👍👍
