I have made all sorts of things out of wood with WoodPrix plans. Sheds, garage doors, chairs, tables, etc. I've even made a fence and raised beds with these plans. They even have plans like bird feeders there. The selection is overwhelming

Out of genuine curiosity because we are framing our house now in the winter... do we run the risk of mold issues with the wood being wet from the snow & snow in the basement? Also, our windows were delivered, but we aren't ready to install them... do we run the risk of them cracking from the cold?

That was very good of you to help Josh with the sheet for the roof; but I’m not sure why he needed the help. You are working solo, couldn’t he get that sheet himself like you do? Would have been good practice for him. Just thinking out loud ❤🙋♀️💕

Yeah, apparently it's a well known thing that DeWalt and Hitachi nailers in the dead of winter suck at performance and this is coming from a DeWalt guy, but it kinda sucks to admit it... not really. Any tool brand has that one tool that sucks performance wise in certain environments. DeWalt is great otherwise overall, but I will also say the big thing about Milwaukee is they make a power tool for everything, but I'm too invested in Dewalt to start having multiple different battery lines. That's the thing about cordless power tools. Lol. This is where owning some niche corded power tools come in handy. Otherwise, you can have an epic combination of power tools by owning both cord and cordless.

@8:50 this was considered a safe practice in construction long before OSHA here in the US 🤷♂️ soo... Not sure what the agency is in Canada, but you get the gist of where I'm going here.

@0:11 Yeah, I don't think that paint does much either. That fire code was more than likely put in by a corporate lobbyist for your local area, so the licensed builder is forced to buy the lumber with green paint that makes it cost extra, thus putting more money in the pockets of the lumber supplier involuntarily. Don't get me wrong, more strict fire codes makes sense in a subdivision where the houses are so close together, but with any building codes atleast half of the codes are money-generating useless bs. Of your area was truly worried about fire reduction, then the codes would call for using 3/4" plywood for the subfloor sheathing instead of crappy OSB. OSB can be a deathtrap in a house fire. It's particle board and can give out easily with enough heat. Plywood will withstand a fire a lot better. But hey, whatever gets the laborer that paycheck. Nothing wrong with that. My own personal house, I'd definitely use plywood sheathing though.

Your an AMERICAN INSPIRATION. PoIiticians believe this Country was built on its own or by slaves. Nope. It was built by AMERICANS who love God and with God comes success. Wanting more than what were blessed with can be contagious. You have a bright future.

I'll never get tire watching this guy working. Iam carpenter for a long time with a lot of experience, but never had a chance to framing a house alone. Always a crew working together. 😢😢😢😢 Very sad when i see that he stoped making videos. I don't know if he is dead or alive, but i hope he's alive and doing good.
