This is much more appealing compared to dqb1. I can already imagine the castletown and all it's glory! This is going to be awesome! Also, apparently you can build multiple vehicles too! a grand prix wouldn't be so farfetched! I need this game in my life, but I must wait since I'm managing my resources... @@BenXC I really do not know the details. I will try and find out more about it, as I have been watching some Japanese KZbinrs playing this game. Because of that, I found out that if you build a glass ceiling underwater you will see the sky as if you aren't underwater... weird. Actually, looking at places with liquid water through a glass window or the like will filter all the water out. Very weird.

This might be the same bug as the one where fire isn't rendered behind a waterfall. The game really doesn't like rendering multiple transparent objects. I wonder if there will be a fix for the localized version.

After you’re done with your castle town , you should build a humongous race track around and through empty Island and race in multiplayer mode

Actually you can build multiple cars in your game as long as you have the instructions for the car , it’s true because I saw in a Japanese dqb2 gameplay video

Hmm, very very interesting, the way you did the floor plan. I would of never thought of that. I just unlocked freedom to build mode, kinda lol. Just finished the main story so this is interesting to watch!

You know in most cases for building the living area is closest to the front door and the dining room is usually next to the kitchen, all and all a good build though, but your floor planning could use work. The reason these are standard floor plan practices is because it makes things easier on the occupant, easier to take food to the table when there is less rooms to have to go through, and easier to relax after a hard day of work if the living room is right at the door, where you can sit and unwind

I know nothing of floor planning 😅. I just build it how I imagined my dream house. I rarely/never use the dining room to eat. But I'll keep your tips in mind when building standard houses. Thank you :)

@@BenXC no problem, I learned about building planning from games much like this one, as well as sims, and did some research back in the day for efficient floor planning and why it was a key to a good house, and turns out it is mostly for convenience but also protection is kept in mind as well. If you have to walk through a room to get food on the table, there is larger chance of spilling/dropping things in transit.

Also this makes sense in dqb because villagers who prepare food will have less distance to travel to store it on crockery and such, meaning they can get back to cooking faster, and I am not criticizing the build, it is beautiful and you did a great job, just the floorplan does kinda make things more difficult for standard house duties is all

Btw.. I've probably spent about 200 hours and over 2 months playing this game and I'm still no where near as good you or as fast as you! Haha! Maybe because I'm on a PS4. Probably much easier on a PC. Not sure what you're playing on though. I JUST got the buildnoculars today FINALLY! Your tutorial on how to sell items saved me! I could not get them to shop! I finally took your advice.. moved 30 of them to one area and broke all the rooms but the shop and a bedroom and low and behold they shopped and then it only took about 2 in game days to finally hit the target and get my last Mini medel!

Also breeding animals was another hard one for me.. my second to last target to complete. I just couldn't get some of them happy! I finally did though. Also is it true the only animals that matter towards the target medal win are dogs and cats? Seemed like it for me. Now I have plenty of both. Haha! You gotta put em in a Animal house and hang private name tags in there. I also decorated the rooms with some strawberries and the pink berries.. wood, wheat sack, rope, 2x wheatgrass (more makes it a paddock instead), medicine bushes etc. Also put them all close together so you can access them easier!! (For anyone stuck like I was) 👍

Precision breaking blocks in tights spaces (or above you) is easier in first person mode. You can break blocks up to I believe 3 above you and below you. (I know you can break at least 2 above/below). Of course if you get builder's eye you can do that too.

I would suggest some general practice with staircases. Just find an empty stretch somewhere, build all the different types of staircases you can think of, and compare how high they get you, how much space they take up, how comfortable they are to navigate, and so on. It could improve your building prowess a lot to have a set of best practices in your repertoire. For example, were you aware how much more space folding your stairs around corners takes up compared to a straight flight of stairs along the wall? A good solution for your case (or staircase, haha) would have been to turn your 1-1-1 set of stairs into a 2-1-2 set wrapping around two pillars by extending the wall one square.

How do you even build so good.. btw did you know that with the ward of edrick (requires 3x Zenthium) (2x Gold ingot) (2x Magic Crystal) (and 50 gratitude I think) you can prevent monsters from spawning on the area that you placed it on?

1:16:03 Did they fix the input scheme? In the demo, you could not hit a foot level block if another was on top of it, as the hammer would always hit the one above.

I think you could match the colour of the white blocks under the roof window by putting roof blocks in backwards so their grey back was the “wall”.

Unfortunately a little part of the roof will peek through. So you'll have some red stripes in your wall^^

Ah that’s a shame. Maybe you could make a feature of it. Put a painting or a carving up there. Mind you I only just got the demo so I don’t know what’s available. Actually, in the settings there’s a “see water through glass” option.

1:01:17 place there the same roof blocks you are already using, but facing the INSIDE of the house. So that their backside faces the outside. Then hide 'em behind a double wall so you don't see it from the inside. :3

You could have stoped mob spawn with one of the end game ward of erdrick the gold one. it stops mob spawns for the entire area where ever it is placed. so if you put one at each tablet it will stop all mobs from apearing on the entire island.
