I love and prefer this wooden pond in a small place than concrete block. Your work is so simple and nice to look at. Keep doing more of this

I hope the second filter is going to be a DIY bakki shower also hope you install one of those telescopic pond skimmers that sit in the bottom of your pond weighed down with rocks with a round floating skimmer basket 🧺 just type DIY bakki shower into the KZbin serch bar and youll see what i mean ! Nice pond build and lovely garden 👍

I like the solid foundation you poured on this. I love seeing when people build things right and don’t cut any corners. Is that wood preservative or stain that you are painting onto the beams?

@@The_Koi_Pit yeah there’s no point in cutting corners when messing with this amount of water.. one mistake and it could be an expensive one 😂 I believe it was a wood preserver on the inside, and then my dad has since stained the outside!

not bad its like my pond check out my pond build video. The only thing I would say you should have installed a epdm liner its more expensive but in the long run its worth it. As the liner you have used if it tears you wont be able to repair it.

I’m not 100% sure to be honest with you my friend! This was my dad’s build so I was less involved with the ordering of materials. I think he managed to get the sleepers for £19 each which would’ve been the most expensive part
