You have to a be a good Software developer first than dive into niche things like AI in order to work in this field. Kind of job/work which Boris does is work of an AI researcher and requires insane amount of dedication and passion. Also the amount of opportunities are extremely less here so its better to first learn fullstack dev, some devops and than compliment it with AI and build end to end web/mobile apps which has some AI component in it. This will be a lot better and will open a lot of opportunities.

Also, I am doing a degree in CS and have taken a basic ML course where i have learned about decision trees, random forest, naive bayes algorithm and clustering techniques. In this summer, i will do an internship where i will work on creating an object recognition model to identify certain objects. I have also worked on a Computer Vision (CV) model in my internship last sunmer so i have experience making Convolution Neural Networks and using them to apply CV in fire images. What skills should i learn to improve my understanding?

Hi Boris!

@borismeinardus
@borismeinardus Жыл бұрын
@Smoshfaaaaaaaaaaan

Boris. many thanks for these 2 videos I'm an Energency Math teacher from LA Unified Unified School District teaching A-Level Computer Science prep course in Moscow to Russian and Expat 12th & 13th Grade/Form students. I was the Econ Data Scientist at The Conference Board in NYC from 1991-93. I started to follow AI Nov 30, 2022, when my Linear Algebra training alerted me that someone developed a way to permit computers to "understand" word symbols as well as they "process" number symbols. I'm returning to either Phila or LA after school ends this June to pursue ML leaning, teaching, and its usage. VPN blocking here slows down access to most LLMs. I have more than enough math background, as you can see, and am having fun reading the first UK published ML 515pg textbook. Your tips will help streamline my approach to learning and using ML ASAP. I will watch Andrew Ng's video ASAP Again, Many Thanks. George Dole

@borismeinardus Жыл бұрын
Publishing a paper about your work is difficult. Writing a blog post about it usually gives you more room for explaining you project, showing results, and more visualizations. I thin reading a blog post, where everything is in one place is also more comfortable than looking at a LinkedIn post or thread. You can write such blog posts on your personal website (I link to my video on how to build one in the info card) or perhaps even just on something like Medium. But I would recommend doing so on you personal website :)

Hi Boris!
@borismeinardus
@borismeinardus 11 ай бұрын
@florian_d
@florian_d 11 ай бұрын
@borismeinardus
@borismeinardus 11 ай бұрын
