Hello lotsa love and light from down under AUSTRALIA ❤ I have done this dip powder application with forms instead of tips. The 1st time I done it was a trial & error as I had run out of tips but I was determined 2 have nails. Marla I'm so glad you done this now I know Im not the only WEIRDO WHO HAS TRYED THIS. I have done this but i put activator on after every dip to really harden. I worked great.

I often wondered if this would work; seems easier than acrylic and monomer. I was a licensed nail tech from 1986 to about 2000. Life took me in a different direction, and stupidly, I let my husband talk me into letting my license go 🤦‍♀️ Anyhoo, next time try pinching the C-curve before you take the form off.

About as strong as extensions alone. I’d still do dip or gel over them for additional strength and longevity

Hmmmm… this gives me an idea. I’ve seen videos on making press ons using builder gel in dual forms. I wonder if you could make them with dip/base gel and dual forms? 🤔

Basically like any other extension. You’d definitely want to either dip or gel over it for maximum strength and longevity 🩷
