I just found you on KZbin - you are a breath of fresh air! I am just planning my social media start and am going to implement your suggestions. I have 0 social right now!!!! Unbelievable right??? I feel comfortable listening to your genuine presentation. Starting is terrifying because what I will be doing is very out there in the fashion styling sphere. I am nervous but determined. I have a lot of very original disruptively original content ideas (I haven’t really found anything like it - which SCARES me) - any start up basics from you are a huge help!

I am so at a loss with my aesthetic! I am an abstract artist and a lot of my stuff is super colorful, but my core aesthetic is THE ROW, meets super neutral fashion like THE POUF 😅

I think shooting with neutral backgrounds helps when building a feed! So even if I have a colorful top or colorful product then I make sure to shoot on a white or beige background to try to balance the feed~

Your aesthetic could be so pretty i like that contrast they you see neutral with a colorful art practice. You might just be over thinking. Your work would bring pops into neutral spaces which is super pretty i would think pops of color even if your making a photo for the feed what could have a pop of color in that image. Is it your earrings? Your lipstick? Your nails? A throw pillow i think something to just call out that we will see color later in your work

I am a foodie myself but I still want to expand my content into more lifestyle + fashion niches, how would you recommend going about that? should I post that type of content on my foodie platform (and try to combine a few niches) or make an entirely new (separate) account and grow another audience from there?

I think you could start to integrate lifestyle videos like mini vlogs and then maybe showcase like an OOTD in the lifestyle video to start incorporating the fashion aspect! Or you could start a fresh new account to incorporate a mixture of all 3 so it doesn’t confuse your current audience~

growing up with a strict parent is so relatable 😅 use backdrops!! I also shoot all of my reels on iphone11 hahaha I’ve had the same phone since college and have yet to upgrade. You don’t need an aesthetic home or nice equipment to just start. You got this!! 🫶🏼

I feel like I’m the same way! I find balance by shooting what I love and finding ways to mesh the two together to find a perfect balance. For IG, shooting filler photos and using the same filter for every photo is the best way to seamlessly blend everything together in my opinion 🤍
