I want to personally thank you for putting out this video. I'm confident in my photography but not in what to do with it. I've been going through the motions: I have a WordPress site, I have galleries, I tried to make a portfolio and it looked amateurish. You’re headed in the right direction, but something seems a little off with the formatting and all those layers..I feel no one’s looking at your photo books that thoroughly unless she’s related to you..simple. Clean. Best foot forward.

I just moved my site from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1. I wish they made it easier for us longer customers to do so but it’s probably worth the switch. Seems like they update it more.

How’d you get your logo front and center on your home page? What template did you use, I’m guessing that has something to do with it. If you don’t mind, how’d you design that logo, what service did you use if any?

Not quite sure by my squarespace looks a lot different than yours. When I make a new page it asks me to choose a premade section and if I choose blank I don't get a text box and the ones I can add don't go to the top like yours. I also don't have the gallery option. Not quite sure what i'm doing wrong but this shit doesn't want to work.

Man, i dont know what im doing wrong but i can not figure out how your doing this. Im watching the video stopping it and watching it but for some reason my squarespace pages do not look like yours? I mean i knows its not going to be the same but where all your buttons are for editing on the page is not the same as yours?

Hey love your content and switching to Squarespace. I have a question for you. HWen I go to follow these steps I don't see the option to add a header when I create a page. Basically the layout doesn't match what your showing. Im pretty comp savvy and have tried a bunch of different times with no luck :(

Hi Evan, I wanted to ask: how did you 1:2 aspect ratio photos to show up on your mobile site completely because when it's done & I switch to mobile view then it crops in on the photo showing vertically the middle portion only

I have more basic portfolio questions, like how do I keep my images from getting stolen and downloaded ad infinitum after I stick them online? It doesn't seem like professionals use watermarks.

If you're afraid of images being stolen, you can only really avoid putting your best work behind paywalls and hope the rest is good enough to attract an audience. Until the day the internet falls off this planet, there will always be someone there to take your work. You can't plan against them, it'll be a waste of energy and time.
