Flawless execution! The only thing that messes all three zones up...is the terrible driving/parking AI. Holding up 4+ blocks of traffic to back into a road parking spot? Come on....

How do you deal with terrain and elevations? or do you just flatten everything and start building? (to be honest this is what I’ve been doing) 😂

Haha yes I mostly flatten. Because now we have buildings that have a huge lot area compared to CS1, but almost all maps are hilly and have steep valleys with little to no flat areas. So placing the bigger buildings on steep areas looks awful, creating that huge dirt wall while rendering that area unusable, and unrealistic. But on more hilly maps I try to preserve the landscape as much as I can, flattening spots here and there, because if someone was to start a city from scratch in real life in 2023, I'm sure it wouldn't do it on a steep valley between two mountains. 😂

Hey I have a question, how can I get hotels & motels? I tried doing them number methods but there not showing up. Is there something I’m missing.

The thing with hotels and motels is that they have a really small chance of spawning, I don't know thy is that, but while I was testing the game with my first cities, I noticed only one motel has spawned at 50K population. Then I added some more tourist attractions and after some time when I started to build the downtown, I found myself like I said in the video, with a super tall building near the other small ones and I noticed that is a hotel. So even by now, I couldn't figure it out exactly if the hotel that spawned in the downtown had anything to do with the fact that I placed some more tourist attractions around the city or it just spawned because the algorithm wanted to.

Realistic USA type of cities, but this game is more focussed on that so it's really a valid tutorial. Also making the quay's as low as possible is also a good way of getting a realistic look. Most build a huge cliff that looks very off scale.

Yes I know what you're saying, I also had this problem where I wanted to install all the mods because they ware all so nice. But at the end of the day I end up using only a few that really help to make my life easier, so now I know to filter them and only download the ones that I am 100% sure I'm gonna use.
