It might work but the government won’t do that because they need tax payers to keep the country ruing, you could teach your kids, another thing is that people are really hard to convince that this is good… just having a normal conversation with a friend and mentioning this, it could mean you are just going to loose that friend it’s just naturally how people are, because it doesn’t give euforia or pleasure to do stuff like this people just see it as dangerous and a scam or a waste of money

I feel like the Growth and Bluechip parts of this portfolio would be better executed via an ETF. The diversification comes at only a small cost and being broad and market cap weighted removes arbitrary decision making from the process, and makes your portfolio future proof. At some point Target (for example) might not be the blue chip that it is today, and owning it as a single name means you are responsible for choosing when to roll out of it. Something an etf would do on your behalf, gradually and systematically. A video idea might be to decompose a portfolio of only a total market index like VT or VTI (+ cash and crypto) and compare it’s growth/value weights with your sample portfolio.
@humphrey2 жыл бұрын
Good idea and great comment. Thanks Jack! Will def consider this.

@@elywananda an ETF is great for these however there’s less upside. Imagine a portfolio built of %25 VOO like he said plus %35 blue chip BUT blue chips are AAPL MSFT GOOG AMZN (just like the top holdings of VOO). Allows you to slightly beat the market safely.
