Hi wonder if you could help, when building a deck do you work out dimensions first so if or when you install the railings you can get all the same spacing between the balasters, and if it's a existing deck where the railings end up several different sizes is it a case of going through the measurements in till you come up with a match for spacing, I know how to find the spacing of any given length but frying my brain to think i'd have to keep calculating every one time and again until I got a match or near as Damn it, I know I can add or take away the increments of say the balaster and space but this could still leave me short or to long for the opening or openings left e.g. stopping and starting at steps any dog legs in decking or if the decking as been built off a building at different increments to the width, help sorry for the essay, cheers
