Yesterday we were given two little bunnies. I have a hutch so they will stay together till they grow bigger.. This build video was perfectly timed

That is awesome! Are they siblings or a breeding pair?

Measure twice cut once measure twice cut once measure once cut twice 👍 man I used to build rabbit cages subdivisions at about 8 after I mastered the power tools .. I found out the hard you gotta watch them big bucks when they start getting vicious leather welding gloves don't give you much protection from them

Our buck is more friendly than the does. He seems more curious and excited to see us when we go in the greenhouse. Our small doe was trying to attack my wife last time we were moving her in with the buck for breeding. She was lunging and attacking like a cat, lol. It was really just a warning but it was kinda funny to watch, I should've recorded it. They definitely have razor sharp claws and I usually wear leather gloves and a long sleeve.

You're welcome! It can be a great way to put meat in the freezer.

New subscriber, from Michigan, we are a small farm in the woods, just over 10 acres, we bought this property in June of 2020 and it has been a real journey making this the way we want it. Takeimg down trees, goals are continuing eaxh year. As we change the way we live and want to raise. We raise California amd New Zealand meat rabbits to feed ourselves, dogs and our cats. We raise heavy milking lines reg Alpine dairy goats, i make all our body products from our goats milk. Wr drink the milk, make xheese, anything that you xab make from milk, i make it. We have an above ground garden, we have a small orchard, four apple trees two cherru trees, foru fig trees, two necture trees, four grape vines. Not getting fruit yet and we will be excited when we do. Thank you for sharing. Till next time God Bless.

I never use hardware cloth on any part of my cages. I use 1/2 x 1 welded wire for the bottom and 1 x2 welded wire on the rest of the cage. It will last alot longer and it alot more sturdy.

I might add that hardward cloth will cause your rabbits to have sore hocks.

You’ve got me interested! You have any related recipes? I think that’s my family’s only holdup.

Not yet, but I'm told you can use it like chicken.

@@TheHandsOnChannel I've never tried it but understand it's red meat. Does it taste beefy? Gamey!
@jeanettehaygood41548 ай бұрын
@@lucy8025it’s a white meat and is mild tasting, not like but similar to chicken. Any recipe you would normally use chicken, use rabbit instead. Hope this helps!
