How to Build a Wolf Stretcher

I've never really found a stretcher for wolves that does them the justice that they deserve, so I built my own. NTA or fur harvester standards don't quite cut it if you want to keep your wolves and tan them. Most stretchers are too narrow, they don't stretch them wide in the shoulders or belly area. I built a stretcher that keeps them big. They shrink when you dry them and they shrink when they are tanned. I've found that they tan bigger if they are dried bigger. I show you how I build my stretchers and I give you the dimensions so you could build one if you wanted. So the measurements are as follows starting at the top work down. The first foot are every one inch, after that they are every foot, the last foot, or bottom are every inch. The measurements are in inches.

I picked up a wolf stretcher in St Marie's at the convention this year. I got some funny looks straping that to my wife's car.
