I've always been a fan of slats for an accent wall. Your project looks great. As far as doing things like cutting the slats down after white washing just keeps it real. The saying, "I do it right because I do it twice" is for all of us. Presenting the finished project while wearing a nice dress gave a professional touch and I enjoyed how your little dog video bombed. Thanks

Love the wood slated wall, great look.. You could continue the look onto the smaller slanted wall below. slats could butt up to the quarter round on the other side for a smooth transition. Gives it the wall ceiling look running together. Beautiful DIY

The spray poly shouldn’t be spitting at all. Did you soak the can in warm water for a few minutes before you used it? Always do this and you won’t have that issue anymore. Also, if it came out okay in the beginning and then started spitting, could be you didn’t clean the nozzle. Always soak the nozzle in a cup mineral spirits and let the can sit in warm water in between coats and your spray projects will always be flawless!

you did a great job by wiping of stain and applying it again. Leaving it on to dry out, is not doable.

Thanks! I watched several videos on staining and quickly learned this was the best approach.
