The most beautiful cross! So powerful! Brad, was wondering if you can make a 4 or 5 foot outdoor wooden star? Would love to have one and wrap it with blue lights for Christmas. I think I could build one with my trusty hand saw if I saw how you did it. Your videos are awesome!

Appears you used 2×4s wouldnt you cut 3/4" rather then a 1/2" in depth on both boards to make the jointed pieces flat surfaced on both sides? or you didnt want the flat even surface look?
@RunwithBrad3 жыл бұрын
If I had a table saw I would have went with a more flush look I think. It still looked good though.

@@RunwithBrad I've been in and around motor sports most of my life (I'm 59). Motocross, cross country, classic cars, Enduro motorcycles now, adventure bikes. I never learned carpendry or how to use carpendry power tools at all. I got the itch so last week I replaced a failing drill I have with $850 of new cordless power tools. 14 tools total. Skill saw, router, jig saw, orbit sander, big batteries etc. you get the picture! Out of all of the tools I've used 1 before, a drill! 😂 The reason I'm telling you this is, you've inspired me to build this same cross to wrap with lights and hang on the front of our home through Christmas. This will be the very first thing I've ever made with wood. I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Be blessed brother! ❤️🙏
