@@dewellmeeks6894 I'm using king bearing both main and rods to custom spec. I found that the toyota 1nz-fe bearings fit but I had to grind off tabs

@@DirtGearTv that's pretty impressive. I had a 2015 mirage for years. Sold it when it hit 80,000 miles and still regret it to this day. How much work would need to be done just to hit a 150hp range? There are literally no aftermarket parts for this engine anywhere.

@@GingerAvenger605 They are tiny workhorses! the last turbo I was using (k03) I was around that figure or more on stock internals with bigger injectors and fuel pump e85 of course

Lots of new light duty stuff comes with really small connecting rods. Look at what comes in a honda L15, the rods are really small. It doesnt really matter for that engine when its stock. The same thing prob happens here. These are really low stress, lightweight engines from the factory and there probably isnt an ounce of metal that doesnt need to be there.
