How to Build an Income and Expense Tracker from Scratch - Google Sheets TUTORIAL Budget Spreadsheet

In today's tutorial I will show you how to create this simple Income and Expense tracker from scratch in Google Sheets.
You will be able to:
- Add your Income Sources
- Register Income Transactions that will be added up in their corresponding Income Source
- Add Expense Categories
- Register Expense Transactions that will be added up in their corresponding Expense Categories
You will also be able to compare expected/budget amounts vs actual amounts.
Finally, you will create a summary showing your Income and Expense totals and how much money you have left for the corresponding month.

You make Excel less intimidating! I slowed down the video speed, wrote down the steps for each part, and used a doble window screen to follow along while I built the sheet. I like how you presented multiple features to create: Calendar, Expense, Income, dropdown menus (that was really cool) and formula shortcuts. OMG I cannot believe that I actually accomplished following step by step from this video and actually created my own income tracker from scratch and all the formulas are working properly. I had to reconnect to my web design programming side to coding on excel. I just realized how much I miss coding. I just don't want to give up. It took me 3 days to complete this on and off with break times, but I accomplished this. I wished I had stuck with this side instead of going to teaching lol.

Awesome tutorial! I used it to help me upgrade my budget sheet. You do have to be a little patient with yourself. She does an excellent job explaining the steps but sometimes you still might miss something. So you have to pause and then look over the formulas very carefully to ensure you captured it correctly.

i can't be grateful enough for this tutorial. I patiently replicated it and i have used it to manage the inventory in my work place by adapting the inflow and outflow system in it. Love your tutorials! I did have an issue with the Array formula at the 13:31 mark but the same formula worked in the other areas fine. Not sure what I did wrong as I copied it exactly, so I did an alternate way which was the drag down option you mentioned, and it worked. Learning so much with these tutorials.
