As Saint Patrick's Day is round the corner I'd love to go to an Irish pub, but they're all closed because of the pandemic. So, I rolled up my sleeves and built my very own Irish pub. Where are you from?
- I am from Bavaria, but I'm a lover of the British Isles and their people!
Why Miss Anglophilia?
- At the age of ten, I had my first encounter with the English language at school. My teacher never tired of telling us inspirational stories about culture “on the island”. And that was it - I fell in love with it all! So Miss Anglophilia is me and it has been for many years.
Is "Anglophilia" just about England?
- As for me, it all started with England which we were taught a lot about at school. I was lucky enough to live in England for a little while during my university years. There, I got to know many lovely people - not only English, but also Scottish, Welsh and Irish. So for me, “anglophilia” doesn’t stop at the English borders.

That was a really well put together production, you should be very proud of this. I can only imagine how much work went into making this, it must have taken you hours!! Very creative indeed!! Of course I saw the Magners Cider and got sad, cider is the one thing that is very hard to come by in the States. Thankfully malt whiskey is easy to find 😂😵 Excellent production my friend, I hope that you are proud of your efforts, you should be!!

Fabulous, Eva! I loved the out-take too. And I've come close to drowning my video camera during a glass-cam shot!! I think you left those whiskies in deliberately for us Scots to spot ;-) I recommend the excellent Patrick Dickinson's channel too for another DIY pub. @@MissAnglophilia I've visited Dublin, and I've also been to Belfast. Belfast is a lovely city, and lots to see there. I went primarily to see the Titanic museum. They've really turned the city around, considering its troubled past. Belfast is also a good staging point to explore the northern coast. Like yourself, I love the countryside, and there's plenty of that between the coastal towns. Carnlough for instance, and Ballycastle, and they're also on the way to the famous Giants Causeway. Aye, the north is also well worth a visit when all this covid madness ends :)
